For your convenience, we have prepared an easy-to-follow checklist of supplies that will come in handy when you are packing up items for storage or when moving to a new address:

  • Bubble wrap or old newspapers for wrapping fragile items

  • Paper and pen

  • Sharpies® for writing on boxes

  • Plastic baggies/storage bags

  • Heavy-duty trash bags

  • Hand tools for taking apart and reassembling furniture

 

Do-It-Yourself movers should also have available a hand truck for moving heavy items, as well as moving blankets, heavy-duty stretch wrap and a strong rope.
